Ticats sign quarterbacks Shiltz, Newman

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced on Monday that they have signed quarterbacks Jeff Shiltz and Logan Newman.

Shiltz has spent the past two seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos, while Newman played at Saint Mary’s University.

“We are very pleased to add Jeff and Logan to our roster,” said Tiger-Cats head coach Orlondo Steinauer. “Both players have a lot of experience and bring a lot of talent to our team. We are looking forward to seeing them compete in training camp.”

The Tiger-Cats open training camp on May 20.
